Hej,
I'm an exchange student in Lund and would like to play a game every now and then. When and where are you meeting? And which games do you play?
See you!

Hello Geert!
You find DMF here (under a kindergarten):
DMF on a zoomable map
We play board games every Thursday from 6 pm and every Saturday from 1 pm. We mostly play a lot of different euro games like Age of steam, Agricola, Power grid, Imperial etc. but sometimes more thematic games can be arranged.
Welcome!

Hi and welcome to Lund
What games or type of games do you like. Table top, board games, roleplaying games? Let us know and we can point you in the right direction.

Hey,
as you're already writing in English here, I'll just join the discussion: I am also a foreign student (jag kommer från Tyskland -> therefore I am not really able to speak Swedish at an advanced level or use your special letters when typing) and play board/strategy games regularly at home (like Agricola, Race for the Galaxy, Dominion, Lord of the Rings [card game but also the tabletop & the cooperative one], Game of Thrones [board game] Firenze, Pandemie ...). I would really like to join you for one of your meetings but I don't know if you like talking English the whole evening. Please just tell me if you are comfortable with that (I guess your English is better than mine anyways...)!
Många hälsningar,
kirsten

There's absolutely no problem with that. We've had foreign exchange students at our meetings previously, and there were never any problems. So do come down and play with us.

I was thinking that in my last post, I should write something about "Pay Hampus no mind, he's a kook", but for some reason I didn't. Shame on me.

Ok, thanks. He might be right that my question was stupid...
Do you play every thursday or do you first discuss here if there will be enough people?

Every Thursday from 18:00.
We are nearly always at least three people. People who tend to be 5-15 minutes late though.
If it should be canceled for some reason (it happens rarely) it should say so in
this thread.

No, at the moment he is a full-blown idiot.
As Gustav said, we play every Thursday, no discussion required. We also play every Saturday from 13.00 onwards. Generally we have a few more players on Thursdays, but it's rare that we have to cancel due to too few people coming.
