I really want to play the Druid so if dibs work I am calling dibs on the Druid

It is perhaps a little unfair on Dave since I haven't e-mailed him yet.

Nah, that's fine. I don't much get into goody-two-shoes or tree-huggers anyhow.

How big of a deal is range in DW? I started out assuming I'd probably want to take a Ranger, but, after looking at the class details, Fighter is looking pretty sweet...

Well, that's hard to say.

I guess it is pretty much the same advantages as most other fantasy games, you trade safety and first blood for lower damage.

Dungeon World is also about dungeon crawling so getting proper range might be an issue.

On the other hand one of the principles of DW is "Be a fan of the characters". If you prefer the ranger go for it, you and I will make it work.

Oh, also the Whispering plain is something like an Afrikan Savanna right? With Lions and Rhinos and stuff?

I don't know I only have the name of the places I can pick and this sounds like it. Or is this one of those, let the player decide stuff about the game world? Because if it is then super yes!

I have this great white hunter concept for my druid that I want to go with. It will be great and extremely offensive

Nah, if range isn't that big of a deal, I'll go with the Fighter. I guess that means I'll need to dream up a ridiculous superweapon to go with the others' deities and rhinolion-infested plains.

Remember that the fighter can put spikes on ANYTHING!

Oh, and if I gain 4 levels I can turn into a Rhino/Lion/Snake Chimera

Jag spelar gärna med två spelare men ville kolla med er först.

Och btw, jag har ingen nyckel så det finns en risk att vi inte kommer in imorgon. Jag räknar med att det kommer vara folk där men man vet aldrig.

Jag tycker vi kör på Kommer vi inte in kan vi vara i min lägenhet som back-up plan.

Too bad Sal can't make it, but let's go ahead with it anyhow. It looked like it would take quite a while before we'd all be available again.
