I think about starting an army in Dropzone Commander. This is a 10mm scale Sci Fi war game focused mainly on urban combat. The 4 factions are very balanced and the company seems to try hard to keep the game in good shape for competitive play. I'll try to take the time to look into the game. Balance, diversity and not too simple rules is what I'm interested in.

I have ordered the rulebook now, i will see how the rules and the fluff are when it arrives. According to internet the rules are less complicated compared with Warhammer 40k. Well 40k has the most complicated rulesystem I have ever seen.
The game seems to be less expensive than Games Workshop, mainly because you do not need so many miniatures. A battle tank is the size of a GW space marine on this scale and infantrie is always a whole squat per base, so no assembling and painting of 50+ orks.

I think I would like the PHR, cybernetic enhanced humans in lumbering battle walkers.

I got the Dropzone Commander starter set yesterday.

We can play either at my place or at DMF.
I live in Fjelie a bit outside of Lund, with car it takes approx. 10 min from the Central Station.

Is DMFs new place actually finished? I had unfortunately no time to have a look so far.

We had a nice game yesterday, the Scourge won 2:1 against UCM. Here are some pictures from the game, taken with my mobile so sorry about the bad quality. I really like the urban terrain you get with the Starterbox. It's just Cardbordboxes, but you have a full gaming board within 10 minutes.
